Shaker.
Our Shaker Kitchens are a more traditional in-frame kitchen built with lots of lovely solid hard wood. An in-frame kitchen is a reference to the solid wood surround that the door sits within. The door is made with solid wood with a 9mm panel insert. Like all our kitchens, the Shaker Kitchen is made with our unique non-toxic carbon-negative HARBOUR ECO-CARCASS.
Flat Front.
Our Flat Front Kitchens are a hung door kitchen. It is a more modern (in style) and cost effective kitchen. It is a new range for us and we have worked hard at applying our engineering philosophy for quality and precision to get it just right! Like all our kitchens, the Flat Front Kitchen is made with our unique non-toxic carbon-negative HARBOUR ECO-CARCASS.

All our kitchens are made with our unique non-toxic, carbon-negative HARBOUR ECO-CARCASS.
We build our carcasses from environmentally friendly, agricultural bi-product based boards; a more sustainable and low energy alternative to MDF, OSB, or plywood.
We have precision designed and engineered our HARBOUR ECO-CARCASS ensuring they have been completely optimised.
Door.
Our doors and frames are all made with solid hard wood. Depending on size of our doors our inserts will either be our agricultural bi-product based boards or special eco-friendly responsibly sourced plywood.
Drawer.
Our drawer boxes are made from our special agricultural bi-product based board and all drawer fronts are 25mm solid hard wood. All our drawers come on state of the art soft close runners. As our kitchens are completely bespoke, they can be painted in whatever colour you like. We find our clients often love a splash of colour on the inside!
Paint.
All the paints we use are no/low VOC water based paints. This ensures there is nothing harmful for you or the environment.
We do a mix of spray and brush strokes to unsure the ultimate finish on our kitchens. We spray two coats of primer, two coats of top coat and then the very special final coat is hand painted with a brush. This creates the wonderful finish expected of a bespoke kitchen. It also means that touch ups are easily done. We know as well as anyone that life happens especially in a family kitchen and the touch up pot we provide with every kitchen means that kitchens can always look their absolute best.
We can colour match any colour that you want for you kitchen inside and out. We use natural earth pigments in our paint, which makes them deep and colour rich as well as eco-friendly.
Timber.
We use solid hard wood for all our face frames, doors, drawer fronts, and detailing (skirting, cornice etc.) We build our kitchens from responsibly sourced & sustainable solid hard wood.
Details.
It’s the details and the little things that makes our Shaker Kitchens truly special. All our shelves, have loop and socket shelf holders, solid butt hinges and beautiful British crafted door magnets. All in a metal to match your chosen hardware.
